In a Settlement Documentary, the life of the plaintiff prior to the injury and the manner in which that life has been changed--are described in a highly effective presentation similar to a segment of a television newsmagazine show with the plaintiff as the subject. This includes interviews (with family members, employers, and friends), various pre-existing photos, home videos, and other items of interest such as awards or hobbies.
A Settlement Documentary establishes the life of the person before the injury and what the loss means to the plaintiff and their family. Facts, such as the emotional effects of the injury or death, the loss of income, medical expenses, loss of household services, loss of consortium, and all the non-economic details are successfully presented in a factual but moving manner.
